MUSCAT – Oman Air said it is maintaining fixed economy-class fares on the Muscat–Salalah route for Omani citizens, while increasing seat capacity to meet rising travel demand during peak and seasonal periods.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the national carrier said it had been closely monitoring discussions on social media regarding air ticket prices on the domestic route and stressed its commitment to price stability for passengers.
Oman Air said economy-class fares for Omani citizens on the Muscat–Salalah sector remain set at RO 64 year-round for return travel, and RO 54 during the Khareef season, for both outbound and inbound journeys.

The airline said the pricing policy reflects its national responsibility to support domestic connectivity and facilitate travel between governorates, particularly during the peak tourism season in Dhofar.
To address increased demand, Oman Air said it raised seating capacity on the route by 17% in 2025 compared with 2024, and has continued to increase flight frequency in line with operational availability.
The carrier added that passengers are encouraged to book tickets in advance through the Oman Air website to benefit from fixed pricing and ensure seat availability during high-demand periods.
“Oman Air continues to work towards delivering the best services to its guests, enhancing the travel experience and offering comfortable and suitable travel options for all,” the airline said.
