MUSCAT – According to the ROP, the arrested individuals used social media to entice the citizen to a location where they physically attacked him. They then stole electronic devices from his vehicle and later coerced him into paying money in exchange for returning the stolen items.
The arrests were carried out by the Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command, which also initiated legal procedures against them.
