MUSCAT : India’s newly appointed Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Prashant Pise, has formally assumed charge and paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at the Embassy of India in Muscat, marking the beginning of his diplomatic tenure in the country.
In a statement shared by the Embassy of India in Muscat, Ambassador Pise honoured the Father of the Nation at the embassy premises shortly after taking charge as India’s top envoy to Oman.
The embassy said the tribute reflected the enduring values associated with Mahatma Gandhi, describing him as a timeless symbol of truth, non-violence and moral courage.
