MUSCAT : Oman and China have reaffirmed their support for dialogue, diplomatic efforts and adherence to international law as key pathways to achieving peace and stability in the Middle East, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).
The position was underscored during a meeting in Muscat between Oman’s Foreign Minister, His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, and China’s Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs, Zhai Jun.
During the talks, the two sides stressed the importance of containing the causes of regional tensions and conflicts through peaceful means, while emphasizing respect for international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.

They also highlighted the need to strengthen diplomatic engagement and dialogue to address regional challenges and support efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability.
