MUSCAT : The project is among the major tourism developments aimed at enhancing the tourism and investment appeal of the Wilayat of Muttrah.
During a field visit to the site, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Hamid bin Abdul Rahman Al Kharousi, Deputy Wali of Muttrah, said work is progressing as planned across all project components, including cable car stations, visitor routes, technical systems, safety measures, and support services.
He noted that efforts are focused on ensuring the project’s readiness in line with the highest approved standards ahead of its trial launch.
Al Kharousi stressed the importance of adhering to the established timeline while maintaining quality and safety requirements throughout the implementation phase. He added that the project will serve as a significant addition to Muttrah’s tourism infrastructure and is expected to boost tourism and economic activity while attracting visitors from within Oman and abroad.
This follow-up forms part of ongoing efforts to monitor progress, assess completion rates, and address any challenges to ensure the project is delivered according to schedule and prepared for operational launch following the completion of construction works.
