MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Wednesday issued two Royal Decrees.
The first decree is to issue the Personal Data Protection Law. “The Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology will issue the executive regulations of the attached law, and the necessary decisions to implement its provisions, and until it is issued, the existing regulations and decisions shall continue to operate, without conflicting with its provisions,” the decree stated.
The second decree stipulated the ratification of an agreement between the government of the Sultanate of Oman and the government of the Republic of Colombia on the mutual exemption of visas for holders of diplomatic, special, service and official passports.
