MUSCAT: The Omani-Iranian Business Council discussed regarding raising the level of joint investment between the two countries, enhancing areas of cooperation in the mining, fisheries and medical materials sectors, and establishing Iranian companies in the Sultanate of Oman in various economic sectors.
His Excellency Qais bin Muhammad Al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, called on businessmen and investors in the two countries to take advantage of the investment opportunities available to achieve common goals and make the work of the Omani-Iranian Business Council succeed.
His Excellency Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Minister of Industry, Minerals and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed his hope to open wider horizons between the two countries through joint investments and to set up precise mechanisms to expedite the executive procedures for investment in order to achieve the durability and strength of these commercial relations.

His Excellency Eng. Redha bin Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, confirmed that the meeting came out with clear mechanisms that work to activate what was discussed and intensify the exchange of trade delegations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran and translate these visits into trade fairs for Omani and Iranian products.
