MUSCAT: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, headed an official delegation, arrived at Damascus International Airport on Monday morning.
Upon his arrival in the Syrian capital, His Excellency said, “I am very happy to visit Syria, with which we have strategic relations, and we look forward to holding talks and consultations to serve the development of bilateral relations and the strengthening of Arab cooperation.”
For his part, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, said during his meeting with Al-Busaidi, “The relations between the two brotherly countries continue and have not been interrupted, pointing out that the Sultanate of Oman has stood by Syria in its war against terrorism.”
