MUSCAT: The CBSE Oman Cluster Tennis Tournament 2022 was organized by Indian School Muscat at Royal Hospital Tennis Courts on 29^th October, 2022. ISM hosted this Cluster Tournament where 54 students in different age categories from 5 Indian Schools participated.

In the under 17 Boys category, Indian School Ghubra bagged the first position, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir finished runner – up and the third position was jointly shared by Indian School Muscat and Indian School Darsait.

In the under 17 Girls category, the first position was bagged by Indian School Muscat, Indian School Ghubra finished runner – up and the third position was jointly won by Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir and Indian School Bousher.

In the under 19 Boys category, Indian School Ghubra clinched the first position. The second position went to Indian School Muscat and third place was bagged by Indian School Darsait.

In the under 19 Girls category, Indian School Ghubra stood first. The second position went to Indian School Muscat.

The event concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony.  Mr. Shabab Bava, Chair, Co- curricular Sub-Committee, ISM, was the chief guest for the occasion.  He appreciated and congratulated the students for their impressive performance and handed over the individual trophies and medals to the winners.

In his address to the audience, Mr. Shabab Bava stressed the importance of sports and its benefits in the school curriculum. He also elaborated on the value of Physical Education in day to day life. The tournament concluded with the vote of thanks and group photo session.

All the winners, who secured the first positions at the meet, have qualified to represent Oman Cluster at the CBSE Nationals to be held in India later this year.
