ASTANA: The session also included an evaluation of the steps taken to enhance trade and investment exchanges between the two countries.
The Omani side was headed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Kazakh side was headed by Arman Issagaliyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
During the consultation sessions, the two sides discussed existing agreements and memoranda of understanding, as well as those expected to be finalized. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
On the sidelines of the consultations, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, met with Alibek Kuantyrov, Head of the Kazakh side in the Omani-Kazakh Joint Committee.
The Undersecretary also visited the Artificial Intelligence Center in the capital, Astana, and met with officials from the Islamic Organization for Food Security.
The meeting and visits were attended by Badriya Hamad Al Ajmi, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Kazakhstan, alongside a number of officials from the foreign ministries of both countries.
