MUSCAT : The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where all the young students are prepared to don  the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.  

The Investiture Ceremony of Indian School Bousher for the Academic Year 2022-2023 was held with great pomp and dignity in a special ceremony at the school’s Multipurpose Hall on 3rd November 2022.  

The occasion was graced by the benign presence of Mr Naveen Narayanan, Managing Director of  SSA International LLC and the Guest of Honour, Mr Shanmugam Purushottaman, Chairman  Purchase, School Management Committee, Indian School Bousher. 

The ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the auspicious lamp, followed by the rendering  of a mellifluous prayer song. The Council Members marched spritely and majestically in sync with  the beating of the drums and were conferred with badges and sashes by the Chief Guest and the  Guest of Honour. They took the oath that they would carry out their duties with integrity, faith and  excellence. 

The Chief Guest, Mr Naveen Narayanan, congratulated the newly elected members and addressed  on the skills needed for emerging leaders. He highlighted that, “The future belongs to those who  learn more skills and combine them in creative ways.” 

The Guest of Honour, Mr Shanmugam Purushottaman highlighted the importance of responsibility  bestowed upon each of them and emphasized that “Leadership is not a position or a title, it is action  and example.” 

The Principal Dr Bhavesh Bhalerao shared wise words of wisdom and knowledge on how to perform  duties with commitment and sincerity.  

The function concluded with the proposal of Vote of Thanks. The ceremony was held with lots of  zeal and zest.
