MUSCAT: An app called Fascano, launched by two college students — Ahmed Al Kharousi and Maarak Al Maeraki — has raised a whopping $1 million.
Fascano provides easy solutions in the hospitality and food sectors.
The two youth invested in the electronic application that they designed during their studies in the Netherlands, where they established a company after their return to the Sultanate.

In its first year, the @fascano_om app received more than one million online order transactions and its market value is currently estimated at $1.2 million. The app is currently heading to cover important aspects in other sectors and is expanding further in the Netherlands, the European Union and other countries in the future.
