MUSCAT: Companies affiliated with the Oman Investment Authority (OIA) will be committed to disclose their financial statements within the next two years, His Excellency Abdulsalam Al Murshidi has informed.
Al Murshidi, who is the President of OIA, stated that it is time for the government-owned companies to operate according to a unified standard and to abide by the charter of governance, disclosure and transparency.
“All companies must disclose all their business, profits and losses, like any public joint stock company,” Al Murshidi said.

Speaking in an interview with Muscat FM radio, Al Murshidi said the financial statements of the 160 government owned companied will be published through websites and media.
