MUSCAT: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Hungary signed an agreement to establish a solar power plant in the Sultanate of Oman at a cost of 10 million euros, with the support of the Hungarian government.
The Hungarian Exim Bank also approved a credit financing of $56 million to facilitate trade cooperation between the two countries.
His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, praised the results of the session of talks held on Wednesday in the fields of cooperation and investment partnership between the two countries, especially in the oil and gas sectors, renewable energy, trade development, tourism relations, mutual investments, the aviation sector and the logistical sectors.

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, and his accompanying delegation left the country after an official visit to the Sultanate.
His Excellency the guest was bid farewell upon his departure by Ambassador Dr. Khalid bin Saeed Al Jaradi, Head of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
