MUSCAT: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Oman’s Minister of Health said he cannot completely rule out the possibility of the presence of new COVID-19 strain in the country.
The Minister also confirmed the registration of four new cases with new strains of COVID-19. Al Saidi was speaking at a ceremony held to receive over 100,000 doses of vaccines that arrived from India on Sunday. On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, Al Saidi thanked India for the gesture.
