Muscat: The Indian Navy’s frontline destroyer INS Ranvijay has anchored at the Port of Salalah as part of its ongoing maritime deployment, further strengthening naval cooperation between India and the Sultanate of Oman.
During the visit, the Commanding Officer of INS Ranvijay met with the Commander of the Southern Maritime Region of the Royal Navy of Oman, highlighting the close engagement between the naval forces of the two countries.
The visit also included professional interactions and exchanges between INS Ranvijay and the Royal Navy of Oman vessel RNOV Sadh.

As part of the engagement, the two navies conducted a bilateral PASSEX, or passage exercise, off the coast of Salalah. The exercise included maritime passage and communication drills aimed at enhancing coordination and interoperability between the two forces.
