ABU DHABI : The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the 35th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair with a dedicated pavilion bringing together publications from key cultural institutions, Omani publishing houses and civil society organisations.

The pavilion features works from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the National Records and Archives Authority and the Cultural Club, alongside publications from a range of Omani publishers and institutions.

Through books covering history, national identity, language, national memory, literature, thought and literary criticism, the pavilion offers visitors a broad view of Oman’s intellectual and cultural achievements.

Oman’s participation is also aimed at strengthening the presence of Omani publications among readers, researchers and cultural institutions while highlighting the country’s contribution to Arab and regional literary life.

The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is being held from September 13 to 18, 2026, under the theme “Turn the Page, Read the World.” The event brings together exhibitors from 95 countries and features more than 1,500 cultural and knowledge events.

This year, Balkan Culture, in collaboration with the Republic of North Macedonia, has been selected as the Guest of Honour, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the region’s diverse cultural and literary traditions.
