MOSCOW : The achievement marks another milestone for Omani youth in the global arts scene, highlighting their growing influence in international photography forums. The participation was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, represented by the Oman Society for Arts (Photography).
Photographer Arwa bint Mahmoud Al-Jabri won a gold medal for a photograph praised by the international jury for its deep human dimensions. She also received three honorary awards for other participating works.



Meanwhile, photographer Yassin bin Mohsen Al-Hajri secured a gold medal for an artistic photograph documenting Omani heritage in a distinctive style. He further added a bronze medal and an honorary award to his achievements for works reflecting the authenticity of Omani culture and environment.

The competition also witnessed strong participation from several emerging Omani talents. Photographer Amer bin Mohsen Al-Hajri received an honorary award for a visual work capturing the beauty and intricate details of the Omani desert, while photographer Iman bint Mohsen Al-Hajri earned an honorary award for a spontaneous and vibrant image portraying the spirit of Omani society and its connection to heritage and nature.
The Omani entries featured a diverse range of themes, including Bedouin life, folk traditions, natural landscapes, and authentic customs, reflecting the richness of Oman’s visual culture and the creative ability of its youth to communicate through the language of photography.
