MUSCAT : Oman’s Higher Education Admission Centre has announced the results of the first admission round for General Education Diploma students and their equivalents for the 2026/2027 academic year.
According to the centre, 33,031 male and female students received offers to study at higher education institutions and programmes across the Sultanate.
The offers represent 70.4% of the 46,934 applicants who successfully met the admission requirements.

The centre said more than 33,000 study places were available during the first round, with 96.8% of the available seats filled.
Students who have received offers must complete the required acceptance and registration procedures within the stipulated period.
The Higher Education Admission Centre has set August 24, 2026, as the deadline for completing registration procedures.
