Muscat – The initiative reminds suppliers that the Consumer Protection Law strictly prohibits them from refusing to sell a product or service, imposing the purchase of minimum quantities, forcing customers to buy bundled items (tie-in sales), or charging any price higher than what is advertised.
The ‘Responsible Provider’ campaign is aimed at promoting ethical business practices and encouraging voluntary compliance among suppliers and service providers across the Sultanate.
