MUSCAT: At the 51 st Junior National Aquatic Championships 2025, Nitishsai Harinath proudly represented
Tamil Nadu in all five events, clinching gold in the 50m Freestyle, silver in the 50m Butterfly and
4x100m Freestyle Relay and bronze in 4x100m Medley Relay and 4x200m Freestyle Relay.
This victory marks his first-ever National Gold Medal, making him the first swimmer from Oman to
achieve such a feat.

Nitishsai’s journey to the Nationals began at the Tamil Nadu state selection meet, where his
exceptional talent shone through. He claimed 4 gold medals and 1 silver, breaking two state
records in the 50m Freestyle and 50m Butterfly.
