MUSCAT : Indian School Bousher hosted the much-anticipated Aarunya Art & Culture Fest on February 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2025, providing a prestigious platform for students to showcase their artistic brilliance. The event was graced by the Chief Guest Dr. Hafsa Banu Abid, a distinguished dentist and acclaimed artist on the inaugural day.

The Art Exhibition featured an impressive collection of over 550 artworks and 30 sculptures, displayed in the Art Studio and Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH). The exhibition was open to students from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and to visitors from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The showcase attracted an enthusiastic audience of parents, students, and art aficionados, all of whom were captivated by the students’ creativity and technical finesse.

Dr. Hafsa Banu Abid lauded the event as a vibrant celebration of artistic talent, acknowledging the students’ dedication, innovation, and hard work. She also commended the educators for their crucial role in fostering creative growth. Adding a personal touch to the event, she exhibited her own Japanese Tree of Life painting—a profound representation of interconnectedness, balance, and the cyclical nature of existence.

A large number of parents attended the exhibition, expressing their admiration for the students’ ingenuity and artistic expression. Many conveyed their heartfelt appreciation to the School Management Committee (SMC) and the Principal, Mr Prabakaran P for curating such an extraordinary platform that celebrates young talent.

The Aarunya journey culminated with the Cultural Fest on February 5th, 2025, where students mesmerized the audience with their vibrant performances in dance and music, marking a fitting conclusion to a festival brimming with creativity and artistic excellence. The Cultural Fest served as an invaluable opportunity for those students who had yet to showcase their creative talents in inter- and intra-school events. With its blend of passion, expression, and artistic brilliance, the festival concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
