Muscat: As an exclusive tribute to its momentous Golden Jubilee Celebrations-ISM @ 50, Indian School Muscat organized a highly successful Blood Donation Camp on December 7th, 2024, which proclaimed the school’s communal solidarity. This impactful event, organized in collaboration with Blood Services Oman, witnessed an overwhelming response from the parents, school’s staff and well-wishers. As the institution commemorates five decades of educational excellence, the Blood Donation Camp emerged as a powerful symbol of ISM’s resolute commitment to the welfare of society.

Teachers, staff, parents, and members of the wider community united in a demonstration of the ISM family’s strength and its deep-rooted sense of social responsibility. Volunteers from Blood Services Oman expertly guided the donors throughout the process, ensuring the event proceeded with seamless efficiency. Dr. Sivakumar Manickam, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman, and Mr. Syed Salman, Vice Chairman of the Board, visited the camp and expressed their appreciation for the school’s initiative in support of this noble cause, while also commending on its continued commitment to the community. Mr. Sherry Johnny, Vice President of Indian School Muscat Management Committee, also congratulated the organizers, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in promoting social responsibility. The camp saw an impressive turnout of donors including the distinguished members of the School Management Committee, who expressed their support through both words and action by donating blood. In his message, Mr. Rakesh Joshi, the Principal, eloquently highlighted the life-saving importance of blood donation and emphasized the school’s crucial role in fostering empathy and selflessness in its students. 

This initiative stands as a poignant reminder of the school’s enduring dedication to making a positive impact beyond the classroom, while also underscoring the strong and lasting bond ISM shares with the broader community.
