MUSCAT: A video that is doing the rounds on social media about 50 expat workers staying in one room in Wilayat Muttrah amid coronavirus fears is fake, Government Communication Centre (GC) said on Saturday.
The video which claims that these workers are staying in one room during the coronavirus testing in Muttrah. However, GC has confirmed that the video clip being circulated is of a neighbouring country.
“There is no truth in the video is being circulated about 50 expatriate workers staying in one room during a medical survey process in wilayat Muttrah. The video is related to another country. Please do not spread rumours,” the statement from GC said.
