MUSCAT: Oman’s Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation has funded 467 research proposals with a total of RO 2.2 million in 2026, the Oman News Agency reported.
The proposals were submitted by educational and research institutions under the Performance-Based Institutional Funding Programme.
The funding was distributed across a range of key research fields, the agency said.
