MUSCAT : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged the public never to share one-time passwords (OTPs), passwords, PINs or banking details, warning that protecting this information is essential to preventing fraud.
In an awareness message posted on X, the police reminded users to keep their financial credentials confidential.
“Some secrets are meant to stay secret,” the ROP said. “Your OTPs, passwords, and PINs are at the top of that list.”
