MUSCAT : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Wednesday received Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser of the United Arab Emirates, at Al Baraka Palace, the Oman News Agency said.
During the meeting, His Majesty Sultan Haitham and Sheikh Tahnoun discussed a number of issues concerning Oman and the UAE and explored ways to advance their shared interests and aspirations.
The two sides also exchanged views on rapidly evolving developments in the region and discussed efforts to promote de-escalation and reduce tensions through balanced diplomatic channels, according to ONA.
