MUSCAT – The plan marks a new phase in institutional development focused on digital transformation, structural improvement and enhanced service efficiency, according to Acting Chief Executive Officer Badr bin Mohammed Al Zaabi.
He said the initiative seeks to build a more sustainable system based on empowerment, growth and integration of efforts, enabling faster access to beneficiaries and improving the overall efficiency and impact of humanitarian services.
The development plan is built on several key pillars, including digital transformation through the adoption of advanced technological solutions to improve services and enhance donor experience based on trust and effective communication.
It also emphasises strengthening community partnerships and adopting best practices to expand cooperation and integrate humanitarian efforts, alongside reinforcing governance and transparency across the organisation’s operations.
In addition, the plan focuses on investing in human resources by developing staff capabilities and creating a supportive work environment, as well as enhancing financial sustainability through improved funding models that support long-term humanitarian impact.
The OCO said the plan will also include the implementation of high-quality projects and programmes designed to deliver sustainable humanitarian outcomes and improve service delivery efficiency across the community.
