MUSCAT : In a public awareness post issued under the National Aviation Strategy 2040 initiative, the CAA said the passenger rights protection regulations are not limited to national carriers such as Oman Air and SalamAir.
The authority stated that the regulations cover all departing flights from airports in Oman, including domestic flights between airports within the Sultanate, whether operated by local or international airlines.
The CAA also noted that inbound flights to Oman operated by national carriers are covered under the regulations in cases where passengers are not compensated under the laws or regulations of the country of departure.
