MUSCAT – Oman’s Meteorology department reported a noticeable rise in temperatures across several parts of the Sultanate over the past 24 hours.
According to data from the Civil Aviation Authority’s meteorological stations, several areas experienced elevated temperatures, with Al Jazir recording 28.9°C, followed by Al Halaniyat at 28.0°C and Al Kamil Wal Wafi at 27.9°C. Yaaloni saw temperatures climb to 27.7°C, while Qurayyat and Bidiyah both recorded 27.5°C.
Further high readings were reported in Taqah at 27.4°C, Mukhaizna at 27.2°C, Fahud at 27.1°C, and Dima Wattayeen at 27.0°C.

The Meteorology Department noted that all temperature records were collected from the Civil Aviation Authority’s official meteorological stations.
