Muscat: The Arab Shooting Championship 2025 will begin in Muscat on Saturday under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth.
Organised by the Oman Shooting Association, the championship will be held at the National Olympic Shooting Complex from December 20 to 25. A total of 144 male and female shooters from 14 Arab countries will take part, competing across rifle and air gun disciplines.
The championship aims to strengthen cooperation among Arab sports federations, support the development of shooting sports across the region, and encourage the exchange of technical expertise. It also seeks to enhance athletes’ skills while raising the competitive readiness and performance levels of participating national teams.
