MUSCAT — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a phone call from His Excellency António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, during which they reviewed several pressing developments in the region.
The discussions focused on the latest updates regarding the Palestinian issue, particularly the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as well as the situation in Yemen. Both sides exchanged views on ways to intensify international efforts to uphold international law and United Nations resolutions, with the aim of achieving peace, security, and establishing a canopy of justice for all peoples.
The Secretary-General expressed his appreciation for His Majesty’s perspectives and reaffirmed the UN’s commitment to working with Oman and other partners in support of regional stability.
