MADRID : The Omani–Spanish Economic Forum convened in Madrid on Wednesday, bringing together senior officials, business leaders, and investors from both nations to explore avenues for enhanced economic cooperation, trade, and joint investment.
Organised as part of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s state visit to the Kingdom of Spain, the forum underscored the growing momentum in bilateral relations and the shared ambition to strengthen strategic economic ties.
The event featured presentations and discussions focused on key sectors including renewable energy, green hydrogen, logistics, tourism, technology, manufacturing, and infrastructure development. Delegates from Oman highlighted the opportunities aligned with Oman Vision 2040, the nation’s long-term economic transformation plan, while Spanish counterparts showcased the country’s capabilities in innovation, clean energy leadership, and advanced industry.
