MUSCAT – The decision came after the Directorate General of Consumer Services and Market Control received several complaints alleging the company failed to honour agreements made with consumers and did not provide services within the agreed timeframe.

In response, the CPA referred the case to the Public Prosecution, which approved the temporary closure of the establishment and suspended its business operations until all complaints and legal proceedings are resolved. The action was taken in accordance with Article 37 of the Consumer Protection Law and its Executive Regulations.

The Authority emphasised the importance of adhering to agreements and contracts concluded with consumers, in order to ensure a consumer environment that safeguards consumers’ rights.
