MUSCAT – The campaign – exclusively for women – is being held in cooperation with the Samad Charity Team, the Blood Bank at Ibra Reference Hospital, and the Directorate General of Health Services in the governorate. It is also supported by the Ministry of Health, Al Mudhaibi Health City, and other community health partners.
So far, 202 donors have registered for the campaign, which the DBBS noted is “a step that reflects growing community awareness of the importance of blood donation”. It also reminded participants to bring their original ID cards on the day of the event.
“Your blood is life, save others with it”, the DBBS stressed.
