Since ascending to the throne, His Majesty’s royal pardons have extended to 7,133 prisoners between 2020 and March 29, 2025, offering a second chance to thousands in the spirit of tolerance, reform, and reconciliation.

2020: 1,704 inmates pardoned, including many during Eid and National Day.

2021: 1,670 pardoned across five royal decrees.

2022: 1,341 pardoned in a continued show of benevolence.

2023: 864 inmates received clemency through five royal pardons.

2024: 879 inmates were pardoned across various occasions, including Eid and the anniversary of His Majesty’s rule.

2025: 882 inmates have been pardoned, including the most recent 577 on March 29.
