The importance of the agreement is to develop the work system followed by the authority, as it has prepared a guide for managing its documents as stipulated by law.
It includes all types of documents circulated by it and reflects the tasks and activities carried out by the authority in addition to a classification system for those documents to contribute to keeping documents related to a specific subject under one classification code.
This would help in retrieving and searching documents and the ability to contain the directory for tables of retention periods of documents that determines the legal period for keeping these documents at the level of labour offices and the places where intermediate documents are kept.
Additionally, it’ll enable the Oman Charitable Organisation to manage its documents in accordance with best practices.
