MUSCAT: Vodafone launched its operations in Oman on Thursday, becoming the third mobile network operator in the country.
“Hello Oman, We’re here,” was the first tweet from Vodafone.
On Thursday, Vodafone launched its commercial operations and the opening of the company’s headquarters. The event was held under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Azzan bin Qais bin Tariq Al Said.

During the event, Vodafone also launched its exclusive offer which includes 77 GB of data, 777 local minutes and 777 local SMS for 77 days, for only OMR 9.
According to officials, there will be 3,500 Vodafone authorized distributors throughout the Sultanate and a comprehensive network across all governorates of the country.
