LONDON : Oman has brought some of its biggest urban development projects to the heart of London, using a two-week exhibition on Oxford Street to court international investors and showcase the Sultanate as a destination to live, work and invest.
The “Live Oman” exhibition is being held at Future Stores on Oxford Street from September 21 to October 4, bringing together developers, government entities and private companies involved in Oman’s urban transformation. The official opening was held on Thursday, September 24.

The programme was attended by His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Said bin Mubarak Al Shuaili, Oman’s Minister of Housing and Urban Planning.

Al Shuaili said the momentum in Oman’s property sector was underpinned by a broader strategy focused on improving quality of life and strengthening government-private sector partnerships to develop sustainable and smart communities.
He said Oman’s presence in London was built around three interconnected themes — “Invest in Oman, Discover Oman and Live Oman” — positioning property development as part of a wider pitch to investors, businesses and people considering making the Sultanate their home.
Among the major developments being promoted are Sultan Haitham City, A’Thuraya City and Al Jabal Al Aali, alongside a range of residential and mixed-use projects. The exhibition allows potential buyers and investors to meet developers directly and discuss property ownership, residency and financing.
Al Shuaili said Oman’s proposition extended beyond real estate, pointing to the country’s stability, geographical position, natural environment and cultural heritage as factors supporting its appeal as a place to live and invest.
The exhibition is also highlighting property-linked residency and freehold ownership opportunities available to international buyers in designated investment zones. Oman’s official Live Oman platform says qualifying property investments can provide residency options covering investors and their families.
Sultan Haitham City is among the flagship projects featured in London. The planned development is expected to include about 20,000 homes as well as parks, schools, healthcare, retail, employment and civic facilities. Seven developers have been signed to the project, representing a committed development value of about $6.4 billion, according to organisers.
Other developments being presented include Muscat Bay and projects within A’Thuraya City, giving prospective investors a range of residential and lifestyle options.
Omani organisations and companies are also participating in the London programme, with the wider exhibition designed to provide visitors with information about banking, connectivity, services and everyday life in the Sultanate.
The initiative forms part of efforts under Oman Vision 2040 to attract international investment, diversify the economy and develop sustainable urban communities.
The exhibition, located at 95 Oxford Street, will remain open until October 4, with a programme of developer showcases, investment sessions and presentations on living and doing business in Oman.
