My Quarantine Life

When I look out of the window

Sadly, I see no one below

Just a lonely playground

Without a single sound

Not seen my neighbors for long

It’s hard, but I’m being strong

No friends or children to play

How long inside do I have to stay?

I miss the good old days

In many different ways

Especially going outside

And playing in the slide

How I wish to go back to school

And also swim in the Penthouse pool

Or a walk in the beach or the park

But now everything’s a question mark!??

I sometimes get fed up staying at home

And all I feel like is to go out and roam

But then I realize that is selfish of me

I have to be very grateful, so I will be

Not all are lucky to have a roof over their head

Home-cooked meals are all they crave to be fed

Do not take life for granted, be thankful always

This life is a test, you will witness better days
