MUSCAT: With Oman reimposing a nationwide night lockdown starting on Sunday, March 28 from 8pm, security checkpoints will be installed between governorates to prevent movements, a top official informed.

Major Mohammed Al Hashami , Director of Public Relations at Royal Oman Police (ROP) said movements will be completely prohibited. “ Movement between governorates will be prohibited, as well as movement between states and villages of the same governorate,” Al Hashmi clarified.

The night lockdown will be from 8pm to 5am until April 8.
