MUSCAT: Air passengers will be permitted to have a companion to drop or pick them from the airport, provided they present the copy of the flight ticket during the nationwide night lockdown in Oman which will begin from March 28.
Oman will impose the night lockdown that will prohibit movement of individuals and vehicles between 8pm to 5am until April 8. However, air passengers are allowed to travel during the ban period. “Passengers must provide their travel tickets as proof while they are traveling from the airport to their homes or vice versa, and they are allowed to have only one companion to drop them off or receive them,” said Major Mohammed Al Hashmi, Director of Public Relations at Royal Oman Police (ROP)
