MUSCAT: Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a group of citizens in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate for violating the Supreme Committee decisions.
In a statement issued, ROP said the arrested group violated the COVID-19 rules by illegally gathering.
In the wake of rising coronavirus cases, the Supreme Committee has banned all types of gathering. Oman’s total COVID-19 cases touched more than 145,000 on Sunday.
