MUSCAT: Following a temporary suspension, Oman will resume the announcement of newly registered coronavirus (COVID-19) cases from Wednesday, August 5.
From July 31 the Ministry of Health suspended the announcement of new cases due to the Eid Al Adha holidays.
Since the decision by the Supreme Committee to completely close the governorates and to prevent movement and closure of all public places and shops from 7pm to 6am from July 25, there has been a drop in the number of coronavirus cases reported in the country. On July 30, the Ministry of Health registered 590 new coronavirus cases. Will the numbers recorded during Eid Al Adha holidays continue to see a downward trend?
