MUSCAT : Bilarab bin Haitham Initiatives will hold the fifth edition of Muscat Art from October 28 to 30 in partnership with the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring works by more than 300 artists, Oman News Agency reported on Sunday.
The exhibition aims to support artists, showcase their work and make art accessible to a wider audience, while creating a space for dialogue among artists, architects and designers.
The partnership extends the initiatives’ work from architecture into visual arts, reflecting the connection between both disciplines and the identity of people and places, organisers said.

Iyad Al Rawas, an engineer representing the initiatives, said the exhibition would provide participants with a platform to present their work and explore new sources of inspiration.
Said Al Shanfari, chief executive of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, said the partnership would enrich this year’s exhibition, highlight the diversity of the art scene and introduce visitors to a range of artistic and cultural experiences.
The exhibition will take place in the centre’s exhibition hall and open to the public from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Bilarab bin Haitham Initiatives will also host a dedicated section featuring selected paintings, each telling a different story to illustrate how creativity connects different forms of expression.
The cultural and community platform began in 2022 with the launch of the Bilarab bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design, with the blessing of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and under the supervision of His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said.
Its work focuses on empowering Omani youth, supporting innovation and developing cultural and creative activities.
