Muscat: In a measure intended to contain the spread of the coronavirus, Oman has banned all entry to travellers from countries with large outbreaks of the illness, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The measure will restrict entries via land, air and sea, to travellers from coronavirus-hit countries.
In a statement issued online, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the decision also applies to those who have valid visas. “As a precautionary method, visitors coming from coronavirus prevalent countries will not be allowed to enter from air, sea and land ports, even if they are transferred through other countries, and they have valid visas.”
