Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has requested companies that have not registered on the e-visa system to apply at the earliest.
As per the new system, the PROs or authorised company officials need not visit the offices to submit the applications for a work visa. They can instead, visit www.evisa.rop.gov.om, and log in, either as an employer or public relations representative, and follow the instructions therein. This will reduce the time and efforts of both the public and officials under the national e-governance policy.
“The owners of new commercial organisations, which were not previously registered in the old system, must go to the nearest branch of the Public Department of Passports and Residence to register their commercial establishment in the system and then follow the subsequent step,” ROP said in a statement on Saturday.
