Muscat: Indian School Al Ghubra organized the Round Square Carnival on Saturday the 23^rd of November 2019. Every year, the school community looks forward to this student led initiative with great anticipation.This year too students of Grade 12 meticulously planned the stalls, games, shows and competitions , so that the visitors have a good time at the Carnival. 

The  Carnival started off with the ribbon cutting ceremony performed by the Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Kattakath, Convenor- School Management Committee. All throughout the morning, children  thronged to the stalls to have their face painted or have henna design done on their hands. Some children were seen making a bid for the attractive prizes by trying out games such as Bean Bag Toss, Sponge Throw, Futzal etc whereas  others were engrossed in playing the e games organized in the classrooms. Parents too were seen enjoying the cultural show presented by the children.The food stalls set up, had a variety of food items to offer and attracted large crowds. Thrill seekers had queued up outside the Haunted House, which was one of the highlights of the Carnival.The crowning glory of the Carnival was the fashion show in which the fashion conscious students of ISG took to the catwalk in traditional and western wear.The youngsters in the audience received with great applause, the Marvel superheroes as they walked the ramp in keeping with the theme of the Carnival.

A flash mob had the school grounds reverberating with music to the energetic moves of the grade 12 students. The Carnival came to an end with Mr. Ahmed Rayees, President SMC  and Mr Sunil K Convenor -SMC picking out the lucky numbers for the Raffle Draw.

  The Principal , Mrs Papri Ghosh congratulated the Grade 12 students for the grand success of the Carnival, the proceeds of which will go towards  a noble cause. She also appreciated them for leaving the school premises neat and clean after the event.
