Muscat – Total air travel traffic in September 2022 increased by 57 percent, compared to September 2021, while total passenger traffic around the world reached 73.8 percent from the levels recorded in September 2019.
Domestic travel traffic rebounded in September 2022 by 6.9 percent, compared to the same period last year, while the total domestic travel movement reached 81 percent, compared to the level recorded in the same period in 2019.
Global travel traffic increased by 122.2 percent, compared to September 2021 levels, and passenger revenue per kilometer for international flights last September reached 69.9 percent from September 2019 levels, and all markets achieved strong growth, especially in Asia Pacific.
