Muscat – ‘Together for Suwaiq’ public hygiene campaign will cover all the areas in the region, with tasks divided into four sectors to ensure all round success. As part of the campaign, follow-up teams were also formed for the sectors to supervise and support the task force.

Speaking on the sidelines of the campaign, Dr. Hamid bin Hamdan bin Ali Al-Rubaie, Assistant Director of the Municipality Department in Suwaiq, said the idea of implementing a public hygiene campaign in the Wilayat of Suwaiq, under the slogan ‘Together for Al-Suwaiq’, was the result of the Municipality’s general observation regarding the presence of poisonous plants, construction waste and dead trees that distorted the general appearance – more so after the destruction caused by Hurricane Shaheen in the residential neighborhoods.

“We decided to carry out this campaign in the service of the homeland and the citizen and the need for work necessitates that we work according to the capacity and available capabilities,” he stated.
